One block from the entrance to the Law School Center for Law and Justice is the Golden Dome Athletic Center, which serves as the headquarters for athletics and recreation at Rutgers–Newark. All Rutgers Law School students have access to the basketball courts in the main arena and in the two-court auxiliary/recreation gym, and to the recently completed 7,000-square-foot fitness center, a 25-yard swimming pool, two racquetball courts, and a dance/exercise studio, as well as five recently resurfaced outdoor composition tennis courts adjacent to the Golden Dome facility.
