“The Nuts and Bolts of Representing Children in Special Education Matters,” designed for attorneys with little or no experience in the field, will take place from 9 am to 4:45 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Rutgers School of Law–Newark.
Sponsored by the Rutgers–Newark Law Education and Health Law Clinic and the Rutgers Institute for Professional Education, the program will serve as a primer for attorneys interested in taking on pro bono representation of families in need of legal services in their education matters or attorneys interested in learning more about this area. This event is co-sponsored by Volunteer Lawyers for Justice and the Education Law Center.
Register for the event at www.rutgerscle.com. The $125 registration fee will be waived for attorneys who agree to represent at least one child in 2014 through Volunteer Lawyers for Justice’s pro bono program. The program will provide 7.0 CLE credit hours (NJ, NY) and 6.0 (PA).
