The Juris Doctor degree was conferred on the Class of 2013 graduates at the Friday, May 24, 2013 commencement of Rutgers School of Law–Newark, held at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). Acting Dean Ronald Chen ’83, carrying the gonfalon, was first in the procession of faculty, university dignitaries, senior campus and law school administrators, and distinguished guests, who were then followed by Associate Dean Andrew Rothman ’90 leading the graduates on the three-block walk from the law school's home in the S.I. Newhouse Center for Law and Justice to NJPAC.
