Law School to Host International Conference on the Foundations of Criminal Law

July 07, 2009 – 

Rutgers School of Law–Newark, home to one of the top criminal law theory faculties in the country, will host a “Conference on the Philosophical Foundations of Criminal Law” on Friday and Saturday, September 25-26, 2009. Conference organizers are Antony Duff, Department of Philosophy, University of Stirling, and Stuart P. Green, Rutgers School of Law–Newark.

Papers from the conference will be published in a volume entitled Philosophical Foundations of Criminal Law, edited by Antony Duff and Stuart Green, to be published by Oxford University Press in 2010. Other contributors to the volume will include Markus Dubber (University of Toronto Faculty of Law), Michael Moore (University of Illinois College of Law), and Ken Simons (Boston University School of Law).
