Announcement About New Faculty Members for 2008-09
Through their teaching,
scholarship, and public service, Rutgers-Newark faculty contribute to every aspect of the law school
experience. Students benefit from the experiences and insight of our distinguished senior faculty
and from the fresh perspectives of our junior faculty. Rutgers law professors examine, help shape, and resolve new
and developing issues of law, such as gender and race studies, dispute resolution, international transactions,
and new theories of the corporation. Faculty members engage students through teaching styles that range from the traditional
Socratic method to interactive problem solving, from required courses to
research seminars and clinical practice.
By any measure --
experience, interest, ethnicity, or gender -- the faculty is diverse, ensuring
the kind of intellectual inquiry and discovery that provides a rich foundation
for a career in law.
