Mr. Nardone earned his B.A. in political science from Rutgers in 1973, a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law-Newark in 1976, and an M.L.S. from Rutgers School of Communication, Information and Library Studies in 1989. He worked as an information specialist in the law school library from 1977-1997. He has taught legal research and/or legal writing at the law school since 1980, becoming director of the program in 1992. He also served in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970.
