Employment Statistics

Rutgers–Newark alumni/ae serve as members of both the federal and state judiciary and hold elected and appointed political office at all levels of government. Others are associated with leading law firms, corporations, and public interest organizations in the tri-state area and in other metropolitan centers throughout the country. Typically, 98 percent of graduates seeking employment accept positions by the spring following graduation.

Class of 2008 Employment Information

By February 2009, 243 of the 248 members of the Class of 2008 reported their employment status to the Office of Career Services. Of those graduates reporting their status and seeking employment, approximately 97% of the Class of 2008 were employed (226 out of 233 students).
