Institute for Professional Education

With the adoption of a mandatory continuing legal education requirement in New Jersey, the Institute for Professional Education has been created by Rutgers School of Law–Newark and Rutgers School of Law–Camden to:

1. offer high-quality, cutting-edge educational programs to members of the Bar;

2. develop appropriate certificate programs; and

3. provide alumni and current law students with additional resources to develop professional skills and networking opportunities.

The IPE offers a variety of program formats, including seminars, practical workshops and in-house programs for law firms, corporate law departments, non-profit organizations and government agencies. They can include half-day, full-day, multi-day sessions, and are planned and coordinated by our staff to identify topics, content, and presenters. In addition to programs addressing substantive areas and legal procedures, IPE offers programs in legal ethics.

Please check back frequently as the course calendar is continuously updated with new programs.
